Light tackle fishing at its FINEST!

The second week in June has always been one of my favorite times for near shore light tackle fishing.  The bait is piling up and the fish are feeding hard.  I had a morning and an afternoon trip on Wednesday.  We were live bait fishing on both trips and had plenty of action.

My morning trip consisted of a father son duo and then a husband/wife team in the afternoon.  We caught one King Mackerel, several Spanish Mackerel, some Sharks and ended the day with a Sailfish - ALL within three miles of the beach.

Dominic and Nicholas fighting a nice King Mackerel.

Rodney Elliott holding the catch of the day. After a few photos we released the Sailfish. Thanks to Hunter and Becca for the photos.
Reserve your Emerald Isle Fishing Charter today and get in on the action -  Call 910-538-2749 for reservations!
