Welcome to the Emerald Isle Fishing report.
The Flounder bite continues to be consistent and our main target for near shore charters. We have been jigging with 2 oz. Jig heads tipped with 3 or 4 inch Gulp Shrimp. We have been catching and releasing many  Black Sea Bass throughout the spring and are looking forward to the June 1st opening season. The Cobia have been sporadic due to the lack of bait balls along the beach however, there have been a few landed by spot casting with a little more luck putting live bait on the bottom around the inlets.  As the water temps. continue to warm and the bait fills in, I anticipate the live bait fishing for Spanish and King Mackerel will be taking over in the upcoming weeks. The first two weeks in June should be wide open with Kings and Spanish on live bait. Feel free to give us a call or check out our website for up to date photos of recent fishing trips.

Mothers Day Weekend

We had nice fishing conditions Friday and Saturday. We focused on the Flounder and had a nice catch.  Spanish Mackerel turned on Saturday and should only get better. I saw a nice school of Menhaden today which is always a great sign. We will be doing a live bait trip in the near future as the bait balls continue to fill in.

We had a great crew out today and despite choppy conditions we pulled in some nice Flounder fishing out of Emerald Isle.

Emerald Isle fishing is picking up. Got into some Flounder today with a Trigger Fish in the mix. Found some bait balls which means Cobia fishing is getting ready to turn on.  Let's go fishing..

Cobia season is here..

The view from the tower is unbeatable for cobia fishing. Come join in on the excitement. May is our best month for spot casting to Cobia. The bait balls are working the beach and the Cobia in a feeding mood.

Easter Week Fishing turns on in Emerald Isle!

We have had a blast fishing this week.  We have been doing light tackle inshore fishing.  The Blues have moved in and we have also caught a few Speckled Trout in the mix.  We have been using a variety of jigs and lures, casting and trolling throughout the inside channels and waterway.
